Ms. Priya Pandit a 21yrs old student from Kashmiri Migrant Settlement Jagti in Jammu, presented to us with bleeding gums and patches all over her body.
A brisk investigation revealed her suffering from Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APML). This uncommon blood cancer is uncommon life threatening and offers long term survivals when treated robustly. Our Onco Hematology team at Apollo Cancer Institute are trying their best. However, Economic unsustainability is a challenge for this family. We appeal for financial donations towards her cost of treatment which is approximately 15-20 Lakhs INR.
