BCPBF receives several heart-wrenching appeals for help every single day. We try our very best to help poor cancer patients through treatment at our frequent OPDs across South Asia, and also through our Central Drug Repository . But we are dependent on your help and support. Here are some poignant stories of cancer patients who have no funds to seek treatment and palliative care.

Thirteen-year old Aayat, suffering from thigh cancer, aspires to be a doctor one day. She is the youngest of six daughters of Abdul Rashid Bhat, a construction worker from Baramulla district, Kashmir. Aayat is a bright and hardworking young girl who is doing well at school inspite of struggling with cancer for the last seven years.

Please help this very brave little girl by contributing towards her treatment.

37 year old Bhairab Shet is the father of two young children. He was diagnosed with soft tissue Sarcoma of the left jaw bone. He underwent left hemimandibulectomy surgery and Radical neck dissection in April 2016, followed by 6 cycles of chemotherapy. The cancer remained under control till he developed skeletal metastasis in Oct. 2017. He is still under treatment and requires injections every month, besides other costs. His job as an office peon does not pay him enough to take care of his family as well as this expensive treatment.
